Atletico’s away record of late is pretty dire, they’ve not won one away match this year, unless you count the Super Cup that was played in Saudi Arabia, and no, we shouldn’t count that. Their scoring record isn’t even great, they’ve failed to score in two of their last five on the road and with Liverpool keeping a fair amount of Clean Sheets at home of late, three out of their last five, maybe, just maybe, Both Teams to Score: No at 1.85 is a possibility.

Matches like this are so hard to call, overall Atletico haven’t lost since a 1-0 loss away to Real Madrid on February 1st, but their away form is just so bad, and as we saw last season when they went away to Juventus they threw away a 2-0 first leg lead, losing 2-3 on aggregate when they wilted against the Old Lady. However, they can certainly frustrate Liverpool here and as time ticks on, if Liverpool don’t get the goal they so badly need they’re going to leave themselves open to Atletico’s blistering attacks.
