Leicester vs Spurs Betting Tips and Predictions

Leicester City are playing for Champions League football here. As it currently stands they’ve level on points with Liverpool on 66 points but the Reds have a positive four goals difference to their name and they face Crystal Palace at home. Of course Liverpool could draw and if Leicester win they’d qualify, or could lose and a draw would be enough for Leicester but we’ve not factored in Spurs at all yet. They’re chasing Europa League football with Everton level with them on points who themselves are away to Champions Manchester City at the same time. You still following all this? It’s complicated but this is why final match days are so much fun. We’re sure to see plenty of twists and turns as well but first of all, let’s find some value for this match.

La Liga Final Day Betting

It all comes down to the final day in Spain’s La Liga. Atletico Madrid are in the driving seat and there aren’t many out there that believe they’ll stuff this up. A quick look at the betting odds sees that Atletico are as short as 1.20 to win the title while Real are as high as 4.50. 1.20 works out at about an 84% implied chance, once we factor in the bookie’s cut the true odds are probably more like 1.18. For Real, odds of 4.50, which should be more like 4.40 give an implied probability of around 22%. In plain English for us then, if these matches were played 10 times as title deciders Atletico would win the title eight times, Real two times.

Barnsley welcome Swansea to the Oakwell on Monday night for the first leg of their Championship Playoff. Whoever wins this tie over both legs will face off in the final against either Bournemouth or Brentford for the chance to be promoted to the Premier League. Both teams aren’t exactly in the best of form, over their last five games each only three of those 10 games have seen any of these sides winning. They’re going to have to do much better over the two legs here if they’ve any hope of making it into the Premier League. Let’s have a look for some value in the markets.

Newcastle vs Arsenal Betting Tips and Predictions

Barring a complete disaster Newcastle should have done enough to avoid relegation by now. Then again, it’s Newcastle, anything can happen. They’re like Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates but with a manager who doesn’t have so many great turns of phrases. Anyway, they should be safe by now but another win would put some further distance between them and Fulham two places below them. Arsenal were in action on Thursday night in their Europa League semi final against Villarreal, the match ended 2-1 to Villarreal and really this match comes as a bit of a distraction as Arsenal’s only chance of European football next season hinges on them going all the way in the competition. Let’s have a look then if we can find some value bets.
