Previews

We’re going to state the obvious here but Barcelona’s season is not going well. Of their seven La Liga games they’ve only won three, drawing three and losing one. Valencia have also won three and drawn three but have lost two. Can Barcelona use this match to reignite their La Liga campaign or is the rot too deep and will manager Ronald Koeman be given his marching orders? More importantly though, let’s find some potential value in the betting markets.

Barcelona vs Valencia Betting Tips and Predictions

As we can see from the image taken from the Bet Dynamo Insights Page there’s a decent amount of value to be had here in certain markets so we’ll dig further into those stats as the article continues. As stated above Barcelona haven’t had a good start to their season and many fans are calling for manager Ronald Koeman’s head on a plate. We must mention though that of their five most recent home games in all competitions they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one so their home form isn’t too shabby at all. Valencia have won just one of their last five games, drawing two and losing two. Away from home they’ve also won one, drawn two and lost two.

Barcelona vs Valencia Betting Tips and Predictions

One stat that immediately jumps out at us from the Bet Dynamo Insights Page is the fact that Barcelona have been winning at Halftime in 75% of their home La Liga games this season. We can also see that Valencia have been winning at HT in none of their away league games so far. Valencia have, at least, scored a couple of goals though, Barcelona have scored a First Half goal in 75% of their home league games. Barcelona to Win the First Half, currently available for as high as 2.10 looks like decent value with the stats. If you’re a bit more cautious though, and we must be aware of Barcelona’s recent form, then laying the HT 0-0 scorelines might be more appealing to you.

Another couple of stats that jump out are the Both Teams to Score and the Clean Sheets stat. We can see that BTTS has occurred in 75% for both teams in their previous home/away games in the league and we can see too that they’re both not keeping many clean sheets. Indeed, of the last eight meetings between Barcelona and Valencia played at the Nou Camp, in all competitions, Both Teams to Score has occurred in seven of those fixtures. Over 2.5 goals was also seen in seven of those eight matches. We’re ticking with BTTS, currently available for as high as 1.83, some might be tempted by adding Over 2.5 goals into the mix and back BTTS and Over 2.5 goals, which is currently available for as high as 2.10.
