14th placed Newcastle United welcome bottom-of-the-table Norwich City to St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon for their Matchday 25 clash. Newcastle are unbeaten in their last six matches (two wins, four draws) and have won 3/5 previous Premier League home matches. Norwich have won one away league match all season and with six points between them and the pack above them they’re not quite out of it yet, some good results and they could be back in it, but with a terrible away record it’s hard to argue against Newcastle to Win at 2.25.

Newcastle vs Norwich Betting Tips and Predictions: Newcastle

Newcastle’s run of late is quite good, drawing away with Wolves and Everton and, of course, beating Chelsea at home sandwiched in between. As said their home form of late is quite good, winning three of their five previous matches. Indeed, they’ve only lost three league matches at home all season, they have though been drawing too many and that why they find themselves so low in the table.

However, things are improving over the last few weeks in particular, beating Chelsea in the dying stages and coming from 2-0 down to drawing level with Everton. This shows the belief in the side and if they could just get their stricker to perform better they’d be able to push up the table. It’s been a problem Steve Bruce has had over his managerial career, getting the best out of strikers. The likelihood of Newcastle being relegated is pretty low but it’s pretty simple, goals win football matches and Newcastle need more player who they can rely on to score.

Newcastle vs Norwich Betting Tips and Predictions: Norwich

Poor old Norwich, after such a spirited start to their return to the Premier League the writing is all but on the walls for their return to the Championship. Saying that, miracles do happen, Leicester were almost relegated a few seasons ago and they went on to win the league.

That away record is dire though, one away win all season; nine losses and two draws. Their scoring record had been terrible too, they went five games in a row without a single goal away from home. Things are a little better since then, they’ve at least scored in 4/6 previous away matches.

Match this with Newcastle’s leaky defense, where they’ve kept just 2/8 Clean Sheets and Both Teams to Score at 1.75 might be worth considering.

Newcastle vs Norwich Betting Tips and Predictions: Goalscorers Tips

Norwich’s Teemu Pukki at 2.10 is the favourite to Score Anytime here. The Fin has two goals in his last two matches and has three in Norwich’s last five away league matches.

For Newcastle, Joelinton at 3.10 is favourite, followed closely by Andy Carroll, even though he’ll probably not play thanks to yet another injury.
