Over the next few weeks we want to do a series of articles where we write about some of the best tools you can add to your betting arsenal. These will be some websites and automated tool than can help speed up the process of picking your football value bets.

These include: Over 1.5 goals, Over 2.5 goals, Both Teams to Score, Corner Stats and more. We’re also constantly adding new features, the most recent of which was Head to Head stats and we have a Value Bets page as well which identifies the matches where the implied probability is greater than the bookies’ odds, thus giving us value bets.

Bet Dynamo’s Insights are just one tool that you should have in your football betting arsenal though, there are many other factors that you need to use when searching for value in the football betting markets.

A quick look at our Facebook Pages shows that people loving using the software to find picks for their Accumulators and a handy wee tool to help you calculate your acca odds is available on OddsPortal.com. Let’s get some tips from the Bet Dynamo Value Bets page for this example:

The Podbeskidzie and Erzgebirge matches have decent odds so let’s us them. Now, these are just being used for the example and with all of the picks on the Value Bets page you need to do additional research on the matches before placing bets, but for this example they’re fine.

Go to OddsPortal.com and find the matches by using the search bar on the left and put both of these picks into a Double. As you can see then you should be getting odds of around 3.0 with your sportsbook. You can also hit ‘Compare all bookmakers’ to get a better overview of which bookies are offering the best odds for this Value Double.

Once you click on it you’ll be brought to a new screen, then you’ll need to hit ‘show all bookmaker odds’ and you should see something like this.

Now, as you can see this is a very handy feature from OddsPortal as you can quickly see which bookmaker is offering the best odds on this Value Double. You can search for even better value by knowing which bookie has the best odds for the two selections.

Don’t be shy to shop around when looking at odds, there are literally 100s of bookmakers available to you now and you should be looking for the best prices when you can get them.

It’s no different from shopping. We know that Christmas is fast approaching and let’s say you’re buying a new bicycle for one of your kids. Would you buy it from the shop selling it for £250 or from the shop selling the exact same bike for £200? It’s a no brainer, you’re going to go for the shop that gives you the best value. Bettors need to start treating bookmakers in the same way, go for the best prices to make sure that you’re getting the best value for your wagers.
