O0.5 (Over 0.5 Goals) – Calm down, we’re not suggesting you place a bet of Over 0.5 Goals at the start of a match as odds would be absolutely terrible. BUT if at HT, or after 60mins, it’s still 0-0 and the SH stat is shining green then an Over 0.5 Goal bet should be considered.

O0.5 FH (Over 0.5 First Half Goals) – We really like this market here at Bet Dynamo as it can be a great value bet. You often get better odds pre-game than Over 1.5 (Game) Goals and when combined with a few other O0.5 FH bets when you can be celebrating winners before half-time and have a nice bank roll for those SH (second half) bets.

O1.5 (Over 1.5 Goals) – You’ll find that for this market bookies’ odds will fluctuate depending on the leagues. However, anything over 1/4 (1.25) is decent odds if it matches up as a tip on our Insights. We also go into more detail on this market here.

Using this bet pre-game: If you plan on using this market pre-game then make sure we are also tipping either O0.5 FH or SH. Obviously, it’s even better if we’re tipping both.

Using this bet in-play: If you wait for the game to start then odds on this market will gradually rise, enabling you to get on it 10-20minutes in for example at much better odds. However, be careful if the game starts off very attacking as there could be an early goal. If you wait to use this market at half-time then just check that our Insights is also strong on SH (second half) goals.

O2.5 (Over 2.5 Goals) – This is clearly a very similar market to the Over 1.5 Goals market but of course you get better odds. It’s a riskier bet but it can be a very worthwhile risk if the stats back it up. We also go into more detail on this market here.

Using this bet pre-game: We recommend that this bet is best placed when we are also tipping O0.5 FH and SH (first / second half) goals. Prime example below!

Using this bet in-play: Better odds can be achieved in-play, waiting for 10minutes to pass before placing your bet could be a good idea if odds aren’t what you want pre-game. If you are looking for a half time bet then you can bet on O2.5 if there has just been one goal in the game and the in-play and SH goal stats match-up to the point that you’re confident in two second half goals.

SH (Second Half Goal) – This is a market that you can’t really bet on before the game starts, at that point it should just be used to inform a pre-game O1.5 or O2.5 Goal bet as indicated earlier in this guide. However, where this Insights really comes into its own is when you’re placing a bet at half-time. Generally the odds on there being at least one goal in the second half (e.g. if it’s 1-0 then a bet on O1.5 Goals) are quite low, but a good technique is to combine a few SH bets across a number of games. You’ll find that there are often a number of games at half-time at once so this should be easy to do, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

BTTS (Both Teams To Score) – The best way to use this market is to also check thee Team Stats for the BTTS tips on our Insights page. If both sides have a high % chance of scoring and a low % chance of keeping a clean sheet then this market looks good for a bet. The odds are usually pretty good in this market but they can get even better if you wait until in-play and place your bet when it’s still 0-0 after 10, or 20 minutes.
